Job Description

SSM Health is seeking PRN Advanced Practice Providers (APPs – PA or NP) to join our Urgent Care PRN Pool, supporting multiple Ambulatory Care Centers (ACCs) across the Oklahoma City metro and surrounding communities. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for experienced providers looking for supplemental shifts.

Practice Locations:

Providers must be flexible to work at any of the following SSM Health Ambulatory Care Centers:

  • Covell (Edmond)
  • Harrah
  • El Reno
  • Purcell
  • NW 63rd Street (Oklahoma City)

 Details:

  • Minimum requirement: one 12-hour shift every 90 days
  • $75.00 per hour

 Position Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Provide care for patients of all ages
  • Perform common urgent care procedures (suturing, casting, splinting)
  • Experience reading X-rays is preferred

 Required Qualifications:

  • Board Certified:
    • Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – ANCC or AANP
    • Physician Assistant – NCCPA / PANCE
  • Active Oklahoma NP or PA license
  • BLS certification required
  • EHR proficiency
  • Prior experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or similar fast?paced clinical setting
