Job Summary

 

Tower Health Urgent Care is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practitioner to join our team in our Wyomissing Location. - working with our clinical team the Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) will evaluate, diagnose, medically manage and treat patients of all ages in the urgent care setting.

This includes recognition, evaluation, stabilization, and management in response to acute illness and injury, as well as, specified physicals (sports, pre-employment, DOT). The provider will be responsible for prescribing, administering, and/or dispensing medication for pediatric and adult patients.  Our APP’s are be expected to perform simple procedures appropriate for an urgent care setting, such as, laceration repair, incision and drainage, simple foreign body removal, and splinting. 

 

Highlights: 

  • Tower Health Urgent Care full time positions are 3-12 hour shifts per week, to include every other weekend and rotating holidays
  • Our APP's are expected to perform simple procedures appropriate for an Urgent Care setting, such as, laceration repair, incision and drainage, simple form body removal, and splinting 
  • The advanced practitioner will be responsible for EKG interpretation, initial X-ray interpretation, point of care testing, and lab work results.  There is also a telehealth virtual care component.
  • Must be willing to travel to 2 locations
