Required Skills:

• Active California State license and CA DEA registration
• Board certification from the National nurse Practitioner Certification or Physician Assistant Certification (NNCCPA)
• Proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in urological procedures and patient management
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in urology or surgical specialties
• Familiarity with hospital privileging processes and documentation requirements
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing clinical environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification in Urology or related specialty
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital clinical experience in urology or surgical care
• Demonstrated surgical case log documentation (if applicable)
• Ability to explain gaps in clinical activity exceeding 3 months

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work approximately 8 hours daily, with overtime after 8 hours
• Flexibility to conduct hospital rounding between 3pm-5pm on designated days
• Updated CV including hospital affiliations required for privileging
• Availability to start on 08/01/2026
