Join Our Dynamic Surgical Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – General Surgery

Required Skills
- Active California licenses and CA DEA registration
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- For Physician Assistants: PA-C credential with general surgery experience
- For Nurse Practitioners: ACNP credential and national certification
- Proven experience with general surgical procedures and patient management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to shift schedules of 10 hours (8am-6pm)
- Comfortable working independently within scope of practice
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience in urgent or emergency surgical settings
- Familiarity with hospital privileging processes
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual proficiency to serve diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
Preferred Education and Experience
- Physician Assistants: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies; 2+ years of surgical experience
- Nurse Practitioners: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with surgical specialization; 2+ years of relevant clinical experience
- Board certification or eligibility within 3-5 years of residency completion
- Previous work in hospital or surgical center environments
Other Requirements
- Must have a clean professional file; providers with unresolved issues or documentation gaps will not be considered
- Willingness to work 2-week on/2-week off schedules or longer availability as required
- Current hospital privileges or ability to qualify quickly
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel-related reimbursements
- Commitment to maintaining current hospital-based clinical activity records and case logs
