Required Skills:

• Valid and active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Experience supporting cardiology patients, preferably in an inpatient setting
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum or temporary placement experience in cardiology or hospital settings
• Knowledge of inpatient rounding, consults, and cardiology protocols
• Additional certifications relevant to cardiology (e.g., ACLS, BLS)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cardiology or acute care settings
• Experience with inpatient hospital workflows and multidisciplinary collaboration

Other Requirements:

• NC license and NC DEA registration (active and in good standing)
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including M-F and possibly 7 on/7 off shifts, with occasional weekends
• Ability to travel if required for certain shifts or assignments
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
