Join the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and care for the region’s most critically ill newborns in a 52-bed, Level IV NICU within a leading academic Children’s Hospital.


Position Highlights

  • Provide care in a high-acuity, Level IV NICU with advanced technology
  • Manage critically ill neonates in collaboration with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in delivery room resuscitation, daily management, and procedures
  • Opportunity to support the Maryland Regional Neonatal Transport Program (MRNTP)
  • Work alongside pediatric subspecialists, fellows, and academic faculty
  • Full-time, rotating shifts with 24/7 team coverage

Qualifications

  • NNP or PA with Maryland licensure (or eligibility)
  • NNP: NCC certification required; new grads welcome (2+ years RN NICU experience required)
  • PA: NICU experience or neonatal fellowship required
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
