Join the University of Maryland Medical System at the flagship University of Maryland Medical Center as an Acute Care NP or PA Nocturnist in our innovative Critical Care Resuscitation Unit (CCRU), located in the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overnight coverage for critically ill, non-trauma adult patients
  • Perform rapid assessment, resuscitation, and stabilization
  • Collaborate with referring hospitals and transport teams
  • Partner closely with intensivists and interdisciplinary staff
  • Support patient safety and quality initiatives

Requirements:

  • Acute Care NP or PA, board certified
  • Maryland license (or eligible), DEA/CDS
  • ACLS/BLS required
  • ≥1 year RN experience (NPs)
  • Prior critical care or nocturnist experience preferred

Schedule & Environment:

  • Night shift position (weekends/holidays as needed)
  • High-acuity setting with exposure to complex, time-sensitive cases
