Our expanding Hematology/Oncology practice is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join a collaborative, patient-centered team supporting four physicians across Jersey City and the greater Hudson County region. With increasing patient volume and two additional satellite locations (Bayonne and West New York), this role is ideal for an APN who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate cancer care.

You’ll play a key role in direct patient management, treatment planning, symptom management, and care coordination for a diverse patient population.

 

About the Opportunity

 

  • Team-based practice of four (4) physicians.
  • Locations: Jersey City, Bayonne, West New York.
  • Work schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm.

What your day will look like

 

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care to hematology oncology patients under physician collaboration.
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and survivorship care.
  • Manage acute and chronic symptoms related to cancer and its treatments.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
  • Participate in treatment planning, including chemotherapy/immunotherapy education and monitoring.
  • Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams, including infusion services, radiology, and supportive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (Epic).
  • Rotate coverage across Jersey City, Bayonne, and West New York locations as needed.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to practice growth.

 

 Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current New Jersey APN license and RN license in good standing
  • National certification as an Adult-Gerontology NP, Family NP, or Acute Care NP
  • Oncology experience strongly preferred; new graduates with strong oncology rotations may be considered
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
  • Willingness to travel between Jersey City, Bayonne, and West New York locations

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The rate shown reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position; actual pay will depend on several factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Pay Range: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
