Join our nationally renowned Pediatric Cardiology team as a Cardiology Pediatric Physician Assistant and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with complex cardiac conditions. In this vital role, you'll provide advanced clinical care within our state-of-the-art Pediatric Heart Failure and Transplant Program, supporting cutting-edge treatments and innovative procedures. Required Skills:
  • Valid advanced practice provider (APP) license and certification
  • Critical care experience, preferably in pediatric or cardiac intensive care
  • Proficiency in bedside procedures such as chest tube and line removals
  • Strong understanding of pediatric cardiac conditions and management
  • Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in pediatric cardiac surgery or transplant programs
  • Skills in advanced mechanical circulatory support management (e.g., ECMO, VAD)
  • Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures, such as pacemaker management
  • Prior experience in high-acuity critical care settings

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care or cardiology experience
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Critical Care Certification (e.g., PCCN, CCRN) preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel or rotate shifts as required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state licensure and Clinical Practice Certification
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $170.43, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick time, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other eligible expenses.
