Advanced Practice Provider - APP - Cardiology

SSM Health-SLUCare Cardiology, Cardiology | SLUCare is seeking a dedicated full-time (1.0 FTE) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with cardiology experience following their education. The selected NP/PA will contribute to the expansion of our cardiology clinic, support improved patient access, and enhance clinic throughput and patient panel capacity at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

Position Details: 

• Outpatient clinic environment, Monday through Friday, with occasional inpatient rounding responsibilities.
• Independently manage outpatient visits—including new consultations and follow-ups—as well as provide chronic disease management in heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia according to scope of practice.
• Participate in an inpatient rounding rotation of 1:4 (one week every four weeks), requiring flexibility based on coverage needs.
• There are no nights, weekends, holidays, or call obligations.

 Minimum Qualifications: 

• Cardiology experience required; may consider candidates with strong background in internal medicine.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Possession of, or eligibility for, Missouri RN and NP licensure or PA licensure.
