Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center is proud to be recognized as a CHLM APP Employer of Excellence
The Division of Cancer Medicine at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center continues to experience rapid growth within its Section of Hematology. As part of this growth we are recruiting Advanced Practice Providers to care for patients with bleeding disorders as part of our multidisciplinary program at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with Hematology experience. Qualified candidate is required to be board certified and is expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based and multidisciplinary care to patients with hematologic disorders. Experience preferred, however new graduate candidates with strong hematology backgrounds will be considered. Our APP is expected to be an active member of the Division and participate in clinical, research, and education services provided by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) for patients with bleeding disorders throughout our clinic network.
The APP will have a primary clinical focus within the Bleeding Disorders Clinic, providing comprehensive longitudinal care for patients with inherited and acquired bleeding disorders. Responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and longitudinal management of patients with conditions such as hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, platelet function disorders, and other coagulopathies.
