Hospital: AdventHealth Durand 

Location: Durand, WI 

Start Date: As soon as credentialed  

Credentialing: 30-120 days 

Schedule: 5 or 10 shifts/month (1 Shift = 24 hours) 

Call: 24/7 call coverage 

Details: 25 bed Critical Access Hospital – Trauma Level IV 

  • Average ED Census: 8-14per 24-hours 
  • Annual ED Volume: 1800 per year 
  • Average Inpatient Census- 4-6 

Ancillary Support 

Imaging: M-F and on call 

Lab: M-F and on call 

Mobile imaging weekly or as needed 

2 clinics with physicians and NP’s 

Services: 

  • RT/CT: Monday-Friday 
  • M-F 7:30a – 5p: ultrasound on call 
  • Interdisciplinary Team Meeting every morning. 

Acuity: acuity is limited to patients able to be stabilized in the ED and managed on med/surg nursing floor 

Subspecialty Support: No specialty support in the hospital. 

EMR: Epic 

Catchment area/Referring Hospitals: Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire, 35 miles. Marshfield Clinic Hospital, Eau Claire 35 miles. 

Experience + Qualifications 

  • At least two years of Emergency Medicine experience 
  • Ability to perform all Emergency Medicine procedures 
  • Comfortable in an inpatient setting  
  • Active WI License or the ability to obtain

  • Two sleep rooms available with queen bed, bathroom and desk.
