Overview
Are you a motivated advanced practice provider eager to work in a fast-paced surgical environment? As a vital member of our team, you will assist with general surgery cases, supporting surgeons and operating room staff to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Your expertise will contribute directly to the efficient management of surgical cases ranging from general to specialized procedures, including orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, and ENT. This role offers a collaborative setting with a supportive team dedicated to your professional growth.

Required Skills

• Valid licensure and certification as an NP or PA in the state of employment
• Prior experience in surgical or emergency settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, surgical pre- and post-operative skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume setting
• Familiarity with OR protocols and sterile techniques

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in multiple surgical specialties (orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT)
• Bilingual capabilities
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
• Knowledge of hospital workflows and interdisciplinary collaboration

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
• At least 2 years of surgical or acute care experience preferred
• Prior experience working with OR teams and managing surgical patients

Other Requirements

• Ability to work M-F, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with potential rotating weekends
• Willingness to assist in surgical cases and participate in additional hospital duties as needed
• Reliable transportation for any required travel or on-call duties
