Required Skills

• Proven experience in cardiology with active GA DEA license
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Epic (training provided)

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Knowledge of protocol agreements with local medical boards
• Certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or similar credentials

Preferred Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in Nursing (for Nurse Practitioners) or Physician Assistant Studies
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience
• Prior experience with Epic electronic health records system

Other Requirements

• Coverage schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Must complete Epic training (every other week, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) after credentialing
• Ability to complete protocol agreement with the Georgia Medical Board (GCMB)
• Active Georgia DEA license is required
• Willingness to undergo credentialing and training prior to start
