Per Diem General Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity

Banner Health is growing and currently recruiting for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work alongside our General Surgeons with Banner Medical Group. This position will provide services at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ and Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, AZ.

Position requirements & details:

• Position will share time between BGMC/BOMC
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years OR experience
• Per Diem
• OR/Clinical position
• PA or ACNP w/RNFA
• Active AZ license or eligibility to obtain
• DEA
• ACLS/BLS

About Us:

Banner Gateway Medical center offers 286 private rooms, nine operating suites and an emergency department with 43 private treatment rooms. The 60-acre campus has the capacity to triple with the addition of two patient towers and coordinating support services. We were also the first in the country to offer an extra type of monitoring, iCare, for our medical/surgical patients as well as intensive-care patients.

Also located on our campus is Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. This center brings the world-renowned resources of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center to our community. Patients experience customized, comprehensive and compassionate cancer care while having a team of experts who understand the nuances of each type of cancer to develop a treatment plan based on his or her unique needs.

Banner Ocotillo Medical Center is a new, comprehensive medical center located in Chandler, AZ. The hospital has 124 beds with ample shelled space for future growth. The hospital offers key inpatient and outpatient services, such as emergency care, intensive care, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, imaging, surgical and women s services. The hospital utilizes cutting-edge technology to improve safety and quality, including robotic surgeries, UV disinfecting lighting, and smart devices for all caregivers.

The four-story, 240,000-square-foot hospital is located on the southeast corner of Alma School Road and the Loop 202/Santan Freeway. It is adjacent to an existing Banner Health Center and is part of an expanding medical community that Banner Health is building in Chandler. Future plans include a Medical Office Building, Ambulatory Surgery Center and an Imaging Center to be built near the hospital to further support the health care needs of the surrounding community.
