Tele (REMOTE) and IN PERSON PMHNP Opportunities Available - Illinois Licensed!

Access TeleCare stands as a leading provider of behavioral health solutions. Currently, we have an In person PMHNP position and multiple tele PMHNP full time and backup positions open in partnership with a few behavioral health hospitals in Illinois.

Requirements: 

• Must be a Board Certified PMHNP (Across the Lifespan)  
• Active Illinois License in hand 
• Must have at least 2+ years of inpatient work experience as a PMHNP 
• Must be comfortable seeing adolescents

Tele (REMOTE) PMHNP Position Details:

• Tele PMHNP Full Time Role (Inpatient): 
• Weekday night call + every other weekend rounds + call. NP to provide rounds, 24-hr call, med-surg consults when requested.
• Rounds and 24-hr call every other Fri-Sun; 24-hr call Mondays; Wed & Thurs call 4pm-7am. Rounds take 1-2 hrs.
• 13-bed adult facility. ~78 hrs/month.
• Tele PMHNP Back Up Role (Inpatient): 
• Every other weekend Friday 5p–Monday 8a. Daytime admissions call + ED/MS/ICU/Telemetry call. NP rounding and rotated call (Slot 2).
• 64-bed facility: Ado (17 bed), Adult (33 bed), Geri (14 bed).

In Person PMHNP Position Details (Inpatient): 

• Location: Kankakee, Illinois 
  • Details: 
  • Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8:00am – 5:00pm rounding and rotated call (Inpatient)
  • NP rounding and rotated daytime admission call (8:00am – 5:00pm) and night call (5:00pm – 8:00am) 
    • Independent practice state, MD will need to sign off on charts in Epic, NPs can manage seclusion and restraints, no court on weekends for our NPs. Expectation would be for NP to see up to 16 patients. Current ADC is 14. ED intake needed, 5 admits/day Saturday and Sunday, rotated among providers. Each provider would see 1-2 patients per shift. 
    • Upon recommendation of the Central Intake Department, NP would need to write appropriate admission orders for patients presenting in the Emergency Dept and external referrals. NP would need to available 4 nights per month for nocturnal call rotation.
