Job SummaryThe Advanced Practitioner functions as a primary health care provider with the responsibility of managing health related problems and conditions. Serves as a clinical leader and works closely with the physicians in managing pre and post op patients, assist with outpatient care, administration of medication, order necessary labs or tests, prescriptions and appropriate documentation of patient charts. This includes consultations for in person, office visits and phone consults with management or others as applicable. Works within specific department with physicians, surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in coordinating and delivering patient care and facilitating communication between the patient and family members as applicable, various hospital departments, the Nursing Team and the Medical Staff on specific indicated issues. Functions as a clinical expert in the area, program or department assigned; dependent on departmental assignment, may be required to have weekend coverage, inpatient consults, rounds, and assists surgeons in specified activities in the operating room.

ExperienceCertification and Licensure- BLS Certification
- PA DEA License
- DOT Medical Examiner Certification
- PA Physician Assistant License
- NCCPA Certification
- Current Valid Driver's License
