Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac CRNA to join a dedicated anesthesia team at a Level III trauma facility. This contract position offers a 6-month preferred length, with consideration for 3 months. The work schedule is a 40-hour workweek, comprising four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, with availability required to work four weeks per month. Candidates must be able to work consistently every week, no part-timers.

Shift Details:

• 4x10s work schedule
• Evening call: one shift per week
• Weekend call: every 6 weeks (up to 2 times during weekend call periods)
• No transplants involved; small ECMO program
• Case Types: 100% Cardiac or CT Surgery including CABGs, Valves, Aortic Roots, Pericardial Windows, Lungs, Laser Lead Removal, Rib Platings
• Average Cases: 2-5 per day
• Practice setting: Hospital-Medical Center
• EMR: Epic (Highly Preferred)

Requirements:

• Board Certification: CRNA
• State License: Required or Compact License accepted
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS preferred
• Minimum Experience: 1 year in cardiac anesthesia
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
• Willing to obtain licensure if necessary
