Job Overview:
The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider provides health care to neonates, infants and children up to one year of age. The APP provides care for critically ill premature and full-term infants with an emphasis placed on family centered culturally diverse sensitive care. In collaboration with the Neonatologist, the APP has daily responsibility for the assessment and management of patients in high and low acuity.
The Advanced Practice Provider practices in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a continuum of primary, acute and or subspecialty healthcare to their patients.
They enhance the quality of care through education and clinical practice utilizing advanced practice, knowledge and research.
