About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Urology, you will work with a collaborative team of five surgeons and three APPs who are committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will provide both clinic-based care and hands-on support in the operating room, working closely with surgeons to deliver comprehensive care across a range of urologic conditions. The position includes independent clinic responsibilities as well as a first assist role in surgical procedures, offering a balanced and team-oriented practice environment.

  • You’ll practice at Utah Valley Hospital with additional coverage in Spanish Fork
  • Your schedule includes a mix of operating room and clinic days, with 10-hour shifts and a midweek day off; optional, compensated clinic call may be available
  • You’ll support two surgeons in the OR and provide “fifth arm” support in robotic procedures

How we'll support you:

We care about your well-being, which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. In addition, we offer paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, and an annual CME allowance to support your continuous growth and development. Learn more about our comprehensive benefits package.

What you’ll bring:

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • AANP, ANCC or AAPA certification
  • Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one
  • BLS, and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Demonstrated interest in surgery or procedural care during training or prior experience

  • Exposure to inpatient or hospital-based care settings during training or prior experience

  • Ability to support care across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural environments

Preferences

  • Prior first assist or operating room experience strongly preferred
  • One to two years of relevant clinical or procedural experience
  • Background in a clinical or surgical environment (e.g., scrub tech, circulating nurse, medical assistant)
  • Familiarity with surgical workflows or procedural care
