Nocturnist Advanced Practice Clinician in Birmingham, AL

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, Alabama! This role is primarily responsible for admissions. The clinician hired for this role will work a night shift schedule from 6pm to 6am. St. Vincent's East is a 282-bed, full-service hospital with a Level III adult trauma center and 24/7 emergency care. 
 
Facility Overview

• St. Vincent's East is a 282-bed, full-service hospital 
• Level III adult trauma center and 24/7 emergency care
• 6pm -6am shift coverage
• No solo clinician coverage is required; the nocturnist APC will work alongside a hospitalist physician and other APCs 
• No code coverage required
• Experience as a NP/PA is preferred for this role
• EMR: Cerner
• Supportive and collaborative clinical environment

Position Details

• Schedule: 7 days on/ 7 days off 
• Current rotation is Monday-Sunday
• Shift: nights; 12-hour shifts
