Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License; Board Certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of outpatient cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience in an outpatient setting.
- Travel: Must be open to traveling within the boroughs of NY
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems, cardiac diagnostics (e.g., EKG, stress tests), and treatment protocols.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cardiovascular assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to manage chronic and acute cardiac issues.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., echocardiograms, Holter monitors).
- Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with practice standards.
