Froedtert ThedaCare is a highly successful, non-profit health system located in Northeast Wisconsin. We are committed to providing world class care to the communities we serve and as a part of that commitment, we are proud to offer a 12-month post-graduate Advanced Practice Fellowship Program designed specifically to support Nurse Practitioners as they transition into practice and prepare to become health care leaders.
Housed within ThedaCare Physicians- Appleton Gateway, ThedaCare Physicians APC Fellowship promotes a novice APC’s professional development, maturation, and lifelong learning with faculty-precepted training. Our faculty members (MD, DO & APCs) provide the opportunity for a 1:4 faculty to fellow ratio. Our faculty support the fellows to learn advanced concepts in population health, evidence-based practices, and provide mentorship to promote continued growth and development, laying the foundation for a fulfilling, long term career within our organization.
Our program provides clinical and didactic experiences, providing real-time feedback in a supportive teaching environment. Our program guides the APC to successfully transition into an independent practice upon completion of the 12-month fellowship.
The application window for the January 2027 cohort will be open June 1st to June 30th, 2026.
