OBGYN APP Opportunity at Memorial Health System

The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide comprehensive women’s health services with a strong emphasis on obstetric and gynecologic care. This provider will work collaboratively with the physician team to support the continued growth of the practice while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care across a rural patient population.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including the evaluation and management of OB patients, routine prenatal care, postpartum care, women’s wellness visits, contraceptive management, and common gynecologic conditions. Experience working within a fast-paced women’s health environment is required.

This role will support both clinic operations and continuity of care for established and new patients. The provider will assist in improving patient access, reducing waiting times, administrative workload (BOLT teamwork) and supporting the increasing demand for women’s health services within the region.

Additional responsibilities may include:
• Management of routine and acute OB/GYN patient needs
• Preventive women’s health services and patient education
• Support of surgical patient workflows and follow-up care
• Collaboration with physicians and care teams to coordinate treatment plans
• Opportunity to participate in procedural care based on experience and training
• Participation in patient education and community-focused women’s health initiatives

The position is best suited for a provider who is compassionate, team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to continue expanding their clinical knowledge and procedural skill set within a growing specialty practice.

Schedule: Mon – Fri (8am – 4pm)
Number of Physicians: Currently 1.5. Dr. Bertuna is full-time and Dr. Ramey part-time.
Patient Voume: Dr. Bertuna averages between 40-50 patients per clinic. We anticipate this role to be 20-25 patients a day.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Clinical Compensation ranging from $206,236 to $257,795
• Annual CME funds of $3,000

Performance Criteria:

Clinical Productivity & Access
• Maintain efficient patient throughput while ensuring high-quality patient care
• Meet established productivity benchmarks based on patient volumes, RVUs, and clinic demand
• Support timely patient access and scheduling needs to reduce appointment wait times
• Demonstrate flexibility in managing both obstetric and gynecologic patient populations
• Contribute to improved patient retention and continuity of care

Quality of Care
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care consistent with organizational and specialty guidelines
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and appropriate escalation/collaboration with physicians when needed
• Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and patient safety standards
• Support quality initiatives related to women’s health outcomes and preventative care

Obstetric & Gynecologic Competency
• Independently manage routine OB and gynecologic visits within scope of practice
• Demonstrate competency in prenatal, postpartum, and women’s wellness care
• Effectively evaluate and manage common gynecologic conditions
• Participate in procedural care and continued skill development as appropriate
• Maintain competency in specialty workflows, documentation requirements, and patient education
