Behavioral Health APP Opportunity in Athens, OH

Memorial Health System is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Behavioral Health team in Athens, Ohio. 

Join a practice supported by an established and growing referral base from other providers and the Emergency Department, with the added potential of delivering care through telehealth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medication management and therapy services as appropriate to adult patients
• Perform occasional tests
• Partner with the crisis team to accommodate ED discharge patients
• Outpatient only, no inpatient required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation ranges from $128,000 to $160,000
  • Actual earnings are based on productivity and experience

Experience/Training Preferred: Psych certification preferred

Current Number of Physicians & APPs: 1 Psychiatrist and 1 Psychologist 

Schedule: 32 patient-facing hours (Flexible on days/times)

Office Hours: M-F, 8-4:30 (Somewhat flexible with hours/days of the week)

Patient Volume: 12+ daily depending on cases, new vs. established, etc.

Psychology and psychiatry services for adults only.

Psychiatry Provider: Patricia Mickunas, MD
Our psychiatry provider offers psychiatric evaluations and medication management for a variety of behavioral health conditions.

Therapy Provider: Jean Scott, PhD
Our therapy provider offers a range of treatment options to help patients better manage mental and emotional health concerns. Services also include neuropsychological testing to help confirm diagnoses such as ADHD and ASD, as well as competency and developmental testing.
