- Shift: Inpatient, Day (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), Night (6:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Call & On-call responsibilities
- Hours/Week: Minimum 8 hours/day guaranteed; overtime applies after 8 hours/day
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (per diem)
- License/Certs: Active CA license, DEA, BC in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Experience: Prior Cardiovascular surgical experience preferred; must be proficient in endoscopic and radial artery harvesting, interpreting EKGs, X-rays, labs, ECMO, IABP, and Impella
- Additional Requirements: Clean NPDB, malpractice, and background check; certification and licensure verification

What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient rounding and post-op care
- First assist during cardiovascular surgeries
- See patients in outpatient clinics
- Manage and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, X-rays, labs, ECMO
- Support ICU teams with advanced cardiovascular procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations (weeknights and weekends)
- Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through collaborative care
What You Need
- Active California medical license; DEA certification
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum of X years of relevant experience (specify if known)
- Proficiency in endoscopic, radial artery harvesting, and interpretation of ECMO, IABP, Impella
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
