What You’ll Do

• Manage ventilator support in critical care patients, collaborating with respiratory therapists
• Monitor and admit critical care patients from emergency departments, hospital floors, and surrounding hospitals
• Perform procedures including placement of central lines, arterial lines, and dialysis catheters
• Assess patient status overnight, assist with decompensation, and update families on care goals
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR system
• Provide autonomous care to adult critical care patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Support ongoing patient recovery and facilitate smooth transitions of care

What You Need
Required:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
• ICU or Critical Care experience (minimum 1 year)
• Ability to perform procedures such as CVLs, arterial lines, dialysis catheters
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills

Preferred:

• Recent inpatient critical care experience
• EPIC EMR proficiency
