Orthopedic PA-C – Surgical/OR First-Assist & Spine Call (Space Coast, FL)

Health First is seeking a skilled, motivated, and surgical-ready Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our rapidly growing, high-performing Orthopedics team. This dynamic opportunity allows you to work side-by-side with an elite orthopedic surgeon, playing an integral role in the OR, managing diverse clinical cases, and ensuring exceptional patient care continuity across all age groups.

What You’ll Do

• Surgical Excellence: Provide high-level first-assist support across a wide range of advanced orthopedic procedures.

• Comprehensive Clinical Care: Manage a diverse patient panel, including same-day orthopedic access, workers' compensation cases, and specialized bone wellness programs.

• Advanced Modalities: Administer joint injections and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies (experience preferred).

• On-Call Support: Participate in the hospital call rotation specifically for orthopedic spine cases.

• Practice Growth: Serve as a vital clinical resource and point of access for fellow providers while actively contributing to clinic operations as patient volume scales.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with mandatory surgical/first-assist experience.

• Versatility: The ability to transition seamlessly between a fast-paced clinic and a high-stakes OR environment.

• Credentials: Active Florida licensure (or ability to obtain), active DEA certification, and strong communication skills.
