Job Title

NP/PA | Primary Care, Inpatient & ER | Rural West Texas

Practice Highlights

• Work-Life Balance: Seven-on/seven-off schedule with true time away and no residual call. Using PTO can result in three consecutive weeks off due to the rotation structure.
• Ideal Work Environment: Full-spectrum practice covering outpatient primary care, inpatient swing beds, and ER coverage, all within one facility. No offsite travel required.
• Optimal Patient Volume: Intentionally low volume clinic (12 to 15 patients per day) with roughly 50 ER visits per month and an average daily inpatient census of about 1. Not a high-RVU environment.
• Culture & Support: Physician-supported role with Medical Director available for consultation Monday through Thursday and by phone as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: $180,000 base salary (W-2), with potential to earn $200,000+ through optional shift pick-ups at $85 per hour.
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree: NP or PA
• Licensure: Active or eligible for state NP/PA license
• Experience: 5 to 10+ years preferred; must be able to practice independently
• Clinical Scope: Comfortable with airway management, ATLS/ACLS/BLS protocols, emergency obstetrics (emergent situations only), inpatient rounding, and standard primary care procedures such as minor suturing and I&Ds
