Location: New Haven, CT 

Job Type: Full-Time (5 days/week) or Part-Time (Minimum 2 days/week)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible lunch options)

For 14 years, our established Adult Medicine Primary Care practice has been proudly serving our community. Founded by a former hospitalist, we operate on a unique, patient-centric model that blends scheduled appointments, same-day availability, and walk-ins.

When fully staffed, our collaborative team consists of 1 MD and 5 Advanced Practice Providers. We pride ourselves on a high-energy, efficient workflow backed by an exceptional, cross-trained support staff of Medical Assistants, Receptionists, and Office Management. Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage a robust panel of adult patients, handling everything from preventative care to acute visits.

Scope of Practice & Patient Volume

  • Common Pathologies: Bread-and-butter adult medicine, chronic care management, weight loss/management, pre-ops, acute visits, preventative care.
  • Procedures: Basic clinical procedures and injections (no joint injections required).
  • Daily Volume: Average of 22–24 patients per day.
  • Pacing: 15-minute standard/follow-up appointments; 30-minute physicals.

Qualifications

  • Credentials: Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
  • Experience: 1+ years of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience is highly preferred, but passionate new graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Attributes: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong clinical decision-making skills, and values a collaborative team culture.
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • State licensure and board certification is required.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in rewarding our providers for their hard work and dedication. We offer a highly competitive compensation package:

  • Financial Reward: $160,000 base salary (or $80 - $85/hour equivalent).
  • Bonuses: Eligible for a Productivity Bonus after the first year.
  • On-Call Pay: Call responsibilities are strictly for our practice, handled on a voluntary basis, and paid extra.
