Care New England Medical Group (CNEMG) is seeking a full time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our robust Bariatric surgical team with Kent and Women & Infants Hospitals. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care. Bariatric Surgical Physician Assistant Opportunity Highlights

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday daytime schedule; prior surgical experience required, knowledge of robotic bariatric surgery preferred
  • Be a valued member of the accredited Bariatric inpatient/surgical and outpatient team supporting the department with duties including:
    a) surgical assist in bariatric and general cases
    b) hospital care of bariatric/general surgery patients
    c) supporting office clinical efforts and outpatient office visits
    d) maintaining accreditation standards and assisting with quality improvement projects
  • Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP)
  • Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers
  • EPIC implemented system wide
