About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider with our General Surgery team, you’ll join a collegial group of four physicians and two APPs dedicated to high-quality surgical care and a strong patient experience. In this role, you’ll support outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and operating room care, including first assisting with robotic-assisted procedures. You’ll round on pediatric and adult patients at Logan Regional Hospital, manage a diverse general surgery caseload, perform bedside procedures such as central lines, chest tubes, and dialysis catheters, and collaborate closely with subspecialists. Budge Clinic is located on the campus of Logan Regional Hospital, a 148-bed facility designated as a Level III Trauma Center, offering close proximity to hospital resources and coordinated patient care.

  • You will practice at Budge General Surgery Clinic in Logan, Utah, and serve as a first assist in surgeries at Logan Regional Hospital.
  • This is a 40-hour-per-week position that includes one outpatient clinic day per week, approximately three operating room days per week supporting surgeons, and daily inpatient rounding based on patient volume.
  • Once fully oriented, you will see approximately 10–16 patients per day in the clinic.
  • You will participate in shared weekend call coverage with a surgeon at least one weekend per month.
  • Candidates should reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Cache Valley area to meet the 30-minute call response requirement.
  • This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance, when applicable.
