Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $110/hour for travel candidates, local candidates within 50 miles to receive $97/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide diagnostic assessments and prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for patients with mental health conditions
• Interpret biopsychosocial data to inform clinical decisions
• Order, review, and monitor labs and medication regimens
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and treatment documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a patient advocate
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and medication management
• Respond to utilization management and quality of care requests

What You Need

• Active RN license and Iowa ARNP license required
• Certification as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or accepted certifying body
• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and mental health assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus
