Join Froedtert ThedaCare and step into a dynamic urgent care practice supporting the Fox Valley region. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of 8 physicians and 17 APCs. Help us advance our mission to reduce ED utilization through high-quality acute care across our Appleton, Neenah, Oshkosh, and New London locations.
Practice Highlights:
- 0.9 to 1.0 FTE: where a 1.0 is 36 patient contact hours with 4 hours of dedicated admin time weekly.
- Regional Coverage: Primary home base with flexibility to float to 4 regional locations based on staffing needs.
- Clinical Variety: Treat patients ages 3 months and up, managing low to high-complexity acute conditions.
- Clinic Hours: Standard operations run 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on weekends at our Appleton, Neenah, and Oshkosh locations. The New London clinic operates 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM on Saturdays.
- ED Diversion: Focus on high-scope acute services and strategic ED diversion, with occasional chronic care bridge support.
- Experience Required: Prior practice experience as an UC or FM NP or PA is required for this role.

- Urgent Care: Walk-in, non-emergency care for minor injuries and illnesses (such as sprains, strains, simple fractures, minor cuts, rashes, and sinus infections) with extended evening and weekend hours available.

- Core Curriculum: Focuses on advanced population health concepts, evidence-based clinical practices, coding, and workflow optimization to ensure a smooth transition into independent practice.
