• Duration: Last-minute coverage for 2 days (07/10 & 07/11)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days only)
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Physician Assistant License in Texas, ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Previous ICU, OR, or cardiac surgery experience required; vein harvesting experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide rounding and patient management in ICU, pre and post-cardiac surgery
• Care for patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, VATS, and lung procedures
• Manage ventilated patients coming out of OR
• Assist with open-heart, VATS, and lung cases, including vein harvesting (preferred)
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams and ICU staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care and interventions accurately and timely

What You Need:

• Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas
• Prior experience with ICU, cardiac surgery, or OR procedures
• Certification in BLS and ACLS
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to efficiently manage complex post-surgical patients
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
