What You’ll Do

• Assist in complex cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repairs, aortic surgeries, and emergent dissections
• Support intraoperative procedures such as sternotomies, chest tube placements, and temporary pacing wire insertions
• Manage endoscopic vein harvesting and mechanical circulatory support procedures
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and intensivists in a high-volume, academic hospital setting
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR software
• Provide perioperative care and patient monitoring during procedures

What You Need
Required:

• MO State License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

Preferred:

• RNFA certification
