What You’ll Do
- Assist in complex cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repairs, aortic surgeries, and emergent dissections
- Support intraoperative procedures such as sternotomies, chest tube placements, and temporary pacing wire insertions
- Manage endoscopic vein harvesting and mechanical circulatory support procedures
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and intensivists in a high-volume, academic hospital setting
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR software
- Provide perioperative care and patient monitoring during procedures
What You Need
Required:
- MO State License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
