Outpatient Only - Family Medicine ARNP or PA

We are a team of mission-driven Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Employees and Administrators - with the best minds and biggest hearts. • 4-day clinic workweek
• 100% outpatient
• Provider autonomy
• Shared telephone call (approximately 1 week every 6 weeks)
• Annual compensation starting near $125,000

Minimum Qualifications

Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, ability to obtain an Oregon license.

General Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.

The name comes from an early French settler who used the term “la grande” to describe the area’s beauty, which is breathtaking in all seasons.

La Grande is a small friendly college town of just over 13,000 people and is nestled between the Wallowa Mountains (aka the Oregon Alps & Little Switzerland) and the Blue Mountains, making it an ideal base-camp for outdoor adventure. The nearby Wallowa-Whitman National Forest is over 2 million acres in size and includes in all or part the Eagle Cap Wilderness, Hells Canyon, Monument Rock and North Fork John Day wilderness area; boasting more than 1,700 miles of trails.

Located 20 miles west of La Grande, the Meacham Divide at the Mt. Emily Sno-Park has Oregon’s second largest Nordic skiing area, with more than 12 miles of trails. The eight trails in this system are groomed regularly from November to March, and are good for classic or skate skiing. Less than an hour away is Anthony Lakes Ski Resort which has some of the best powder snow in the Intermountain West.

There are also opportunities for snowmobiling, mountain biking, camping, picnicking, swimming, boating and water skiing in the mountains, trails and lakes in the surrounding area; as well as white water raftering on the Grande Ronde River.
