What You’ll Do

• Assist with hospital rounding, elective, and emergent surgeries
• Support cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Assist in outpatient clinics and perioperative care
• Remove chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, epicardial wires, and intra-aortic balloon pumps (preferred skills)
• Coordinate with support staff and physicians for seamless patient care
• Take call coverage on weekends and weekdays as scheduled
• Document using Meditech and eCW EMR systems

What You Need

• Active Ohio PA license
• Minimum 1+ year surgical experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery
• Certification: BLS, ACLS required
• Key skills: Surgical support, hospital rounding, patient care coordination
• Preferred: Experience removing epicardial wires, chest tubes, and intra-aortic balloon pump
