Join a High-Impact Emergency Medicine Team

The Chickasaw Nation Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Emergency Department team. This float position provides care across the Main ED, Fast Track, and Virtual Visit Clinic, with the flexibility to also support our Ardmore, Durant, Purcell, or Tishomingo Health Centers as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Provide preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic care for patients of all ages in the Main Emergency Department, Fast Track, and Virtual Medicine Clinic
  • Evaluate and treat acute and minor illnesses and injuries
  • Manage cardiac (acute MI), neurologic (acute CVA), and trauma cases
  • Write initial admitting orders and make appropriate referrals for secondary/tertiary care
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Chief of Emergency Medicine
  • Serve on hospital committees and performance improvement teams as assigned

Schedule & Compensation

  • Night shift position with a 20% night shift differential
  • Competitive pay, up to approximately $180,000 for an experienced, high-performing NP/PA

What You'll Need

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN with prescriptive authority) or Physician Assistant (ARC-PA program graduate, PANCE certified)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a provider setting
  • 12 months of experience as a sole provider in a high-volume ED with physician backup, including cardiac, neurologic, and trauma management
  • Current unrestricted DEA
  • Current unrestricted state license required; candidates without an Oklahoma license must be eligible and willing to secure one within 90 days of employment

About the Medical Center

Chickasaw Nation Medical Center is a 72-bed facility which includes robust inpatient and outpatient services to include inpatient medicine and ICU, ED, general and specialty surgery, anesthesia, podiatry, OB-GYN, pediatrics, primary care, psychiatry, behavioral health, specialty outpatient services to include rheumatology, dermatology, cardiology, nephrology, infectious disease, and infusion clinic, endocrinology and specialty diabetes care, pathology, optometry and ophthalmology, inpatient and outpatient pharmacy,  audiology, residency clinic, imaging, pulmonary services and social work.
