Our regional medical center is now seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic. Our clinic is the ideal place to practice for Advanced Practice Providers, as we have a large patient population and excellent supportive staff. 

Position Highlights

• Work alongside two orthopedic surgeons in OR as first assist
• Provide follow ups and help with patient rounding
• Stryker Mako Robot - Only 3 communities in Kansas to have this technology
• Great team of APP's, Athletic Trainers, and support staff!
• Work autonomously with own patient panel in clinic
• Optional to provide sideline coverage at local sporting games
• TEACH! Opportunity to be a preceptor for physician assistant students from state university.
• Qualifies for the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
• Experience preferred, but not necessary

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.  

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.
