Parkland Health, one of the nation's largest public health systems, is seeking a part-time Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join its outpatient behavioral health team at the Moody Outpatient Clinic in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will provide psychological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients ages 3–18 through observation, interview, and psychological testing, and will formulate and administer individualized treatment programs as part of a collaborative, team-based practice.

Position Benefits:

  • Guaranteed base salary — part-time range of $68,040 to $91,865

Position Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an APA-accredited university, including completion of an APA-accredited internship (master's-level candidates cannot be considered)
  • Active license (or license-eligible) as a Psychologist with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations through interviews, records review, and formal assessment procedures to diagnose and develop treatment plans, including response to crisis and emergency situations
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to help patients manage emotional and psychiatric symptoms and build effective coping strategies
  • Collaborate with referring providers and colleagues, coordinating referrals for continuity of care
  • Maintain thorough, confidential clinical documentation for all patient encounters
  • Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team, contributing to program planning, policy, and best-practice development within the specialty area
  • Educate colleagues and the broader Parkland community on specialty-area best practices
  • Stay current on developments in clinical psychology through ongoing professional education and participation in professional organizations
