Non-Invasive Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Location: Frederick, MD 21702 

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Family Medicine team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Practice Lead to build out our new cardiology program, delivering high-quality diagnostic and preventative specialty care to ensure long-term patient continuity.

Scope of Practice:

• Patient Population: Adults seeking general, sub-specialty, preventive, and rhythm cardiovascular care.
• Comprehensive Primary Care: Outpatient management of acute, chronic, and preventive cardiovascular conditions from internal referrals.
• Clinical Workflow: Full-time outpatient schedule within a multidisciplinary specialty center.
• Clinical Procedures: Routine non-invasive diagnostics, nuclear cardiology, cardiac PET, and vein care.
• Volume & Call: Integrated 4–5 provider team structure; outpatient call only with no hospital duties or hospital call.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Experienced candidate with clinical background in cardiology; experience with nuclear and cardiac PET services preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Maryland NP license and BLS required upon start.
