What You’ll Do

• Manage post-operative care for adult and geriatric cardiothoracic and vascular patients
• Perform emergency surgeries, assist in surgical procedures, and take vein during heart surgeries
• Review and interpret tests; order additional tests and diagnostics
• Provide consults and referrals from the ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
• Assist in vascular tissue retrieval and vein harvesting for bypass procedures
• Write prescriptions and coordinate patient care plans
• Conduct rounding and collaborate closely with hospital staff and specialists

What You Need

• Valid Ohio Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain license
• Previous experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery preferred
• Ability to perform vein harvesting and assist in complex surgeries
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
