What You’ll Do:
- Perform scheduled colonoscopies on weekdays in a busy hospital setting
- Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient workups in collaboration with midlevel providers and hospital staff
- Manage inpatient GI consults and follow-up procedures as needed
- Provide complex GI patient care, including lab procedures and follow-up visits
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Support inpatient hospitalist services during the provider’s absence or scheduling conflicts
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid medical license in Texas
- Physician with Gastroenterology specialization
- Proven experience performing colonoscopies and GI procedures
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Prior locum or hospital-based experience
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, busy hospital environment
