What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with supervising physicians during day and night shifts
- Respond decisively to ICU patient needs, providing critical care interventions in adult ICU patients
- Round with the attending team, assess patient status, and complete clinical tasks
- Respond to emergency situations and provide clinical response in a fast-paced environment
- Document patient care promptly within Epic EMR system
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care delivery
- Support ICU team with minimal procedures, primarily focusing on responding clinician responsibilities
What You Need
- Required:
- Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner license (or eligible for licensing)
- Certification in ACLS and BLS
- DEA registration
- 2+ years’ ICU experience in a hospital/teaching hospital setting
- Ability to work 3x13-hour shifts, including weekends and nights primarily
- Preferred:
- Experience with critical care procedures and managing adult ICU patients
- Local candidates able to stay in Boston
