What You’ll Do
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to 12-15 patients daily
- Collaborate with a team of three permanent HemOnc providers, six RNs, a PA/NP, and six office staff
- Conduct patient evaluations, manage treatments, and coordinate follow-up care
- Respond to light on-call duties via beeper (2-5 calls/week, phone-only, 1-hour response time)
- Utilize the Aria EMR system to document and manage patient information
- Support long-term patient relationships, emphasizing mission-driven, quality care
- Participate in a community hospital setting that values stability and team collaboration
What You Need
Required:
- Active Virginia medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience with outpatient oncology care and management of established patients
- Ability to work independently within a team-based environment
Preferred:
- Prior experience in outpatient Hematology and Oncology clinics
- Ability to drive or commute to the facility easily for long-term placement consideration
