NP/PA Hematology Oncology Opportunity in Nags Head, NC

ECU Health Physicians in partnership with The Outer Banks Health Cowell Center, an ACoS Commission on Cancer accredited program located in Nags Head, North Carolina are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing oncology practice. Applicants with oncology experience are preferred. Providers with bone marrow biopsy experience are encouraged to apply.

Outer Banks Health Hospital

Outer Banks Health Hospital (OBH) is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility is part of the ECU Health system of care and is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, a labor & delivery suite with a dedicated cesarean section OR, a full rehabilitation therapy center, cancer treatment and radiation therapy center, and a 24-hour emergency department.

Outer Banks Health Cowell Cancer Center, located in Nags Head, opened its doors in January 2024. The 15,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care under one roof, including medical oncology and radiation oncology services, as well as an infusion center. In addition, Outer Banks Health is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoS-CoC) and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
