OverviewJOB SPECIFICS
- According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
- Partner closely with cardiologists to optimize patient outcomes through evidence?based treatment plans, timely follow?up, and coordinated care across the continuum.
- Perform and interpret cardiology?related diagnostics such as ECGs, stress testing, and device checks, ensuring accurate assessment and prompt clinical decision?making.
- Support patient education and lifestyle counseling focused on risk?factor reduction, medication adherence, and long?term cardiovascular health.
- Join a team of 2 APPs collaborating with 3 Physicians and Sub-Specialty support.
- 1st shift days, Monday - Friday, No Call.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed to provide either advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act OR physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- BLS/ACLS Certified.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

- Full-time, clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-$68.10. This position is salaried.
