What You’ll Do:

• Assist in adult inpatient and outpatient cardiothoracic surgeries
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient histories
• Support perioperative care and post-op recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and medical staff
• Manage patient visits, documentation, and EMR updates in EPIC
• Participate in weekend rounds and on-call coverage as scheduled

What You Need:
Required:

• Active Physician Assistant license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of surgical PA experience, preferably in cardiothoracic care
• Certification in BLS
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges (training provided)

Preferred:

• Previous experience in adult inpatient settings
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced surgical environments
