What You’ll Do:
- Provide OR first assist support during adult cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and ascending aortic surgeries
- Assist with emergent surgeries such as dissections and redo sternotomies
- Support intraoperative procedures involving mechanical circulatory support (Impella, ECMO, IABP)
- Help with chest tube and pacing wire placements, sternotomy opening/closure
- Collaborate with surgeons and team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
What You Need:
- Valid Missouri license
- Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
- BLS certification
- Key skills in adult cardiac OR procedures and team collaboration
- RNFA certification preferred but not required
